No crank, no lights
If nothing happens when you turn the key — no noise, no dash lights — the battery is the first place to look. A dead or discharged battery, a loose or corroded battery connection, or a blown main fuse can all cause a complete no-crank.
A battery test confirms whether the battery has enough charge and capacity. If the battery is healthy, the charging system and connections are checked next.
Clicking but no start
A rapid clicking sound often points to a weak battery or a poor connection at the starter solenoid. A single click may indicate a starter that isn't engaging. Testing the battery voltage and the voltage at the starter helps tell them apart.
Cranking but not catching
If the engine cranks normally but doesn't start, the battery and starter are likely doing their job. The issue may be in fuel delivery, ignition, or engine management — which is where a diagnostic scan and component testing come in.
Let us test before you replace
A no-start has several possible causes, and guessing often means replacing the wrong part. We test the battery and charging system and diagnose the starting circuit before recommending any repair.
