What Does the TPMS Light Mean?

The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light warns you about tire pressure. It can be a simple low-pressure warning or a system fault — and the difference matters.

Low tire pressure

A solid TPMS light often means one or more tires are below the recommended pressure. Temperature drops can trigger it even when the tires are fine. Check your pressures and inflate to the door-jamb placard value.

A flashing light

A flashing TPMS light often indicates a system fault rather than low pressure — commonly a dead sensor battery or a sensor that needs service. We can check the system and service TPMS sensors.

We service TPMS sensors

We perform TPMS sensor service. If the light stays on after you've checked your pressures, bring it in and we'll diagnose the system.
